An 80-car production run, built one at a time in Los Angeles
Czinger Vehicles builds the 21C in Los Angeles using large-scale 3D-printed body panels and components, with each car taking more than 3,000 person-hours to hand-assemble and finish. The company plans to build only 80 examples total, split between road and track-focused "Lightweight Track" configurations, with a 4-unit-only 21C Blackbird variant at the top of the range. At that scale, this is closer to a hand-built race program than a production car line.

What published insurance data actually shows
The Highway Loss Data Institute (HLDI) — a nonprofit affiliated with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety — publishes real collision loss statistics by vehicle series, and we cite that data on several of our other marque pages where it exists. It doesn't exist for the 21C. HLDI's reporting threshold is 1,000+ insured vehicle years of exposure or 100+ claims nationally in a given study period, and with only 80 21Cs ever planned, this car will never come close to that bar. We'd rather tell you plainly that the data doesn't exist than cite a number that isn't real. What this actually means in practice: a 21C can't be priced off an actuarial table — it has to be underwritten individually, based on the specific car and its use, by a carrier that specializes in ultra-low-volume hypercars.
What carriers actually ask before they'll write coverage
Specialty carriers for a car like this don't just price the car — they underwrite the driver. Expect questions about prior high-performance vehicle experience, storage arrangements, and how the car is actually used, since the 21C's track-record-setting history (it has broken multiple production-car lap records) means insurers will want to know whether track use is occasional or central to ownership.
Some Czinger owners showcase their car. Others keep it entirely private. Both are covered correctly.
Some 21C owners want their car seen — at Goodwood, The Quail, or on track chasing lap records. Others prefer total discretion, especially given how few examples exist worldwide. Both are legitimate ownership styles, and both change what the policy needs to account for.
An independent brokerage, not a single carrier
We're not captive to one insurance company, and we're not a dealership finance office. That independence is the point: our only job is finding you the right coverage at the right price, then advocating for you if you ever need to use it.
Access to multiple carriers
We shop coverage across a range of specialty and standard carriers instead of pricing everything through one company's rate table, so you see real options instead of a single take-it-or-leave-it quote.
Bundle for a better rate
Combine your Czinger with your home, everyday autos, umbrella liability, other collector vehicles, and — where it applies — your business insurance. Carriers price account relationships, and that often means meaningfully better terms across the board.
Four things a standard policy misses
Agreed value, not depreciated value
The payout is set when you bind coverage — not renegotiated by an adjuster after a total loss, and not based on a generic valuation guide that has no idea what an 80-unit hand-built hypercar is actually worth.
3D-printed & bespoke parts
Coverage that accounts for the 21C's unusual construction — large-scale 3D-printed structural components aren't something a generalist body shop can simply replace or fabricate.
Track use & record attempts
Given the 21C's history of lap-record runs, we place coverage that actually fits track-day and competitive use rather than excluding it outright, as many standard exotic-car policies do.
Transport & international exposure
Delivery, event transport, and cross-border movement all carry real exposure for a car in this price bracket that a standard auto policy isn't built to anticipate.
